When I started my YouTube channel, I intended for it to be a variety channel; however, my HyperionTV channel is becoming one-noted. So, let's fix that.

Most of you probably know of the song 'Beyond the Sea', but most people don't know that 'Beyond the Sea' is a parody of sorts. It started with a French song called 'La Mer' which I have been told translates to 'The Sea', and it received many foreign adaptations, and the one here is the German version called 'De Zee'. When the song was adapted for American audiences, it became about love, whereas the original was about the sea itself. A friend of mine created a cover of 'De Zee' for my future reviews, and, since I'm probably a bigger fan of the original song, I wanted to share it here, and post translated lyrics. Unfortunately, finding the original lyrics was far from easy. Luckily, I found the original lyrics to 'La Mer', and I've been informed that the original lyrics were kept for 'De Zee', just translated into German.
